Client Liability Waiver

By participating in services provided by Built for Life and Karra Krug, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Professional Scope & Educational Disclaimer
Built for Life provides movement education and fitness-based reprogramming. While Karra Krug is a licensed Occupational Therapist (MSOTR/L), services provided through Built for Life are strictly non-clinical.
- Capacity: By engaging in these services, you acknowledge that Karra Krug is acting solely in her capacity as a Movement Reprogramming Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer.
- Educational Purpose: All guidance and programs are for educational and fitness purposes only.
- No Diagnosis/Treatment: Built for Life does not diagnose medical conditions nor provide Occupational Therapy treatment. These services are not a substitute for medical care or physical therapy.
- No Guarantees: I understand that results from movement programs vary based on individual participation and physiology; no specific physical outcomes are guaranteed.
Administrative & Payment Policies
- Payment: Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
- Cancellation: Built for Life requires 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Failure to do so results in the session being forfeited.
- Program Expiration: All session packages must be completed within 6 months of purchase to ensure consistency and progress.
- Refunds & Transfers: All sales are final. If a client is unable to complete a program, sessions may be transferred to alternative services (e.g., ergonomic consultation or virtual coaching) or gifted to another individual at the discretion of Built for Life.
Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
- Assumption of Risk: I understand that movement and training involve inherent risks. I voluntarily choose to participate and accept all risks of physical harm or injury.
- Medical Acknowledgment: I affirm that I am medically stable and in appropriate physical condition to participate. I agree to disclose all injuries, chronic conditions (e.g., cardiac, respiratory, or metabolic), or limitations that may affect my safety.
- Release of Liability: I release and hold harmless Built for Life and Karra Krug from any and all claims or damages arising out of my participation in these services.
Privacy & Data Handling
Your privacy is a priority. While these services are not “covered entities” under HIPAA, Built for Life maintains high standards for your data:
- Third Parties: Built for Life will never sell your data. Your information is shared only if required by law or with your explicit written consent.
- Collection: Built for Life collects only necessary information (name, email, health history) to provide safe and effective programming.
- Storage: Data is stored on secure, password-protected drives or encrypted platforms.
Intellectual Property
All programs, instructional videos, and guides are the intellectual property of Karra Krug and are licensed for use by Built for Life. These materials are for your personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.
Communication
Non-emergency emails and messages will be responded to within 24–48 business hours. Built for Life is not a crisis or medical service; for medical emergencies, please dial 911 or contact your primary care physician.
